Teresa Stadlober starts the new season with JFJ!

Cross-country skier Teresa Stadlober has a new, strong partner at her side in JFJ Health & Sports GmbH. The Innviertel-based company will be supporting the 30-year-old from Radstadt for the next three years, but not just as a head sponsor. The Olympic medal winner from Beijing 2022 is also relying on the ergoHI² altitude training system from JFJ to prepare for competitions.

"The partnership with Teresa Stadlober goes far beyond sponsorship. Starting this season, the successful cross-country skier will be training with our unique ergoHI² altitude training system and will be accompanied by our sports scientist Christoph Weiss," explains Josef F. Joachimbauer, CEO of JFJ GmbH. "The aim is clearly for Teresa Stadlober to use this new training methodology to improve her performance once again and celebrate many successes - in the World Cup and at the next major events, the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim and the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Our joint motto is: Go for Gold!"
"I want to take my training to the next level with ergoHI²"
"I'm really looking forward to working with JFJ. I want to take my training to the next level with ergoHI². I'm an experienced athlete and I want to use it to get that extra bit out of myself," emphasizes Teresa Stadlober. "Altitude training is particularly important in endurance sports. And if you can do it at home with ergoHI², you save yourself a lot of walking."

At the start of the World Cup in all three competitions
The cross-country skiing World Cup season starts in Ruka, Finland: the classic sprint is on the program on 24 November, the 10 km classic on 25 November and the 20 km freestyle mass start on 26 November. "I will be competing in all three events in Ruka. I am a distance specialist, but as we have free places, I will also be competing in the sprint on Friday. You don't know exactly where you stand at the start. But my goal is to finish in the top 15 in the long distances," says Teresa Stadlober about the first races of the new season. "We don't have any big events this year. The highlights for me this season are the World Cup in Trondheim before Christmas, the Tour de Ski at the end of December and beginning of January and the 50-kilometre classic race in Oslo in March - where I came fourth last year."

Focus on major events in 2024 and 2025
Teresa Stadlober is already looking ahead to the next two seasons. The Nordic World Ski Championships will be held in Trondheim in 2025, followed by the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026. "I'm really looking forward to Trondheim. There's always a great atmosphere there. I already know the courses from the World Cup. I don't have a World Cup medal yet, so that's a big goal of mine. The same goes for the Olympic Games. My favorite tracks are in Val di Fiemme - both the tracks and the area suit me very well there."
