JFJ A&D is pleased to announce the successful delivery of three containerized F-35 simulation systems in collaboration with our partner, multiSIM BV, in the Netherlands.
Each of the three containers is equipped with an F-35 cockpit simulator and has been specially configured for training with a Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device (ROBD). This creates a realistic training environment for flight physiology training and hypoxia sensitization.
The containerized concept combines a cockpit simulator, the ROBD training system, and the necessary supporting infrastructure into a compact, self-contained training environment. Since each simulator is installed in its own container, the three systems offer a high degree of flexibility and can be deployed according to specific training and operational requirements.
The project combines JFJ A&D’s expertise in cockpit simulation, flight physiology training systems, and custom system integration. Particular attention was paid to creating a realistic and immersive cockpit environment, as well as to the efficient integration of the simulation and training equipment into the containers.
By conducting ROBD training in a realistic F-35 cockpit environment, pilots can experience and recognize the effects of reduced oxygen supply while simultaneously performing cockpit-related tasks. This allows physiological awareness training to be combined with a realistic operational workload under controlled conditions.
The successful completion of all three systems marks another important milestone in the collaboration between JFJ A&D and multiSIM BV and underscores our ability to develop and deliver specialized and customized training solutions.
