JFJ Aviation & Defence is delivering three container-based F-35 simulation systems to the Netherlands

JFJ Aviation & Defence is pleased to announce the successful delivery of three container-based F-35 simulation systems to our partner, multiSIM BV, in the Netherlands.

Each of the three containers is equipped with an F-35 cockpit simulator and has been specially configured for training with a Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device (ROBD). This creates a realistic training environment for aviation medicine training and raising awareness of oxygen deprivation (hypoxia).

The container-based concept combines the cockpit simulator, the ROBD training capabilities, and the necessary technical infrastructure into a compact, self-contained training environment. Since each simulator is housed in a separate container, the three systems offer a high degree of flexibility and can be deployed according to individual training and operational requirements.

The project combines JFJ A&D's many years of experience in the fields of cockpit simulation, physiological training systems, and custom system integration. Particular attention was paid to creating a realistic and immersive cockpit environment while ensuring the efficient integration of the simulator and training equipment within the container.

Through ROBD training in a realistic F-35 cockpit environment, pilots can experience and recognize the effects of reduced oxygen supply while simultaneously performing cockpit-related tasks. This allows training to raise awareness of physiological effects to be combined with a realistic operational workload in a controlled training environment.

The successful completion of all three systems marks another important milestone in the collaboration between JFJ A&D and multiSIM BV and underscores our ability to develop and deliver specialized and customized training solutions.

“The delivery of three complete container-based systems is a significant milestone for us. Combining an F-35 cockpit environment with ROBD training capabilities in a standalone solution required close coordination throughout the entire project. We greatly value our collaboration with multiSIM BV and are extremely satisfied with the result,” explains Dr. Johann Schwandtner, Managing Director of JFJ A&D.

We would like to thank the entire team at multiSIM BV for the trust they have placed in us and for their excellent cooperation throughout the project, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership.
