JFJ Aviation & Defence GmbH is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new research contract by armasuisse Science & Technology, the research division of the Swiss Federal Office for Armaments.
The project focuses on the development of the F-35 Rotundrum Missile Avoidance Trainer, an advanced, virtual reality (VR)-based research and training platform designed to study human performance under simulated operational conditions in military flight operations.
By combining an existing Triplex Rotundrum motion platform with an immersive F-35 VR cockpit environment, eye-tracking technology, and software for cognitive performance testing, the system enables the scientific study of vestibular responses, spatial orientation, situational awareness, and cognitive performance in realistic missile threat scenarios.
