The company MEDIKA MCN Tecnologia Medicinal S.A. with the Burgkirchen-based company JFJ Consulting GmbH (commercial partner and consultant for sales, marketing and logistics) has been securing the supply of protective equipment for over a year. CEO Josef Joachimbauer is pleased to have now been officially recognized as a partner of the Austrian Federal Procurement together with the Portuguese supplier MEDIKA Lda.
"Thanks to my many years of experience in distribution and worldwide contacts, together with our Portuguese partner MEDIKA we have been able to import millions of medical protective equipment from Burgkirchen since the beginning of the pandemic. In the beginning, I worked almost day and night with some supporters. Now our expert team guarantees the processing of the enormous workload," adds CEO Josef Joachimbauer, who employs 30 people at two office locations in Burgkirchen and Mattighofen.
For more than a year MEDIKA MCN Tecnologia Medicinal S.A. and JFJ Consulting GmbH have been in intensive contact with the Austrian Federal Procurement. Already last summer the company was listed as a supplier and was able to supply various public authorities with masks, protective gowns, gloves and much more. In total, an order volume of more than 50 million euros has been processed so far.
"Competition is very tough, stockholding is almost impossible to plan, and we always have to work under high pressure to offer our customers the best solution. We are proud that we have now received the official seal "Partner of Federal Procurement"," adds Joachimbauer.
The company's steep growth path is to be continued, with many projects planned for the second half of 2021 and beyond.
